Nice to meet you.
My name is Isabel and I am a UI/UX Designer based in Toronto.
While I earned my degree in Urban Planning, my interests have always revolved around people, design, and technology. Being at the forefront of innovation with endless opportunities to improve peoples' experiences is what piques my curious mind.
When I'm not designing or looking for problems to solve, you can often find me playing the piano, reading, hitting the gym, or cooking to music.
Where do I get my inspiration?
Examining how people think and behave across various cultures, geography, and demographics is what I find fascinating. Travelling allows me to observe people in different settings and helps broaden my perspective on how to approach problems on a local and global scale.
What do I bring to the table?
Having worked with a wide range of startups, organizations, and small businesses, I understand what it means to adapt to new skill sets to bridge the gaps within my teams. My eagerness to find the best solutions for customers/ users and meet business goals is evident through the leadership and initiative I bestow on each project.
Where do I go from here?
I constantly challenge myself to be a better designer by keeping up with emerging trends, industry best practices, and evaluating the outcome of my endeavors.
My goal is to keep learning, sharing ideas, and contributing to the development of the UI/UX Design community.
